What we collect

When you sign up for free access we collect your email address and phone number, plus an optional company name. We also store standard technical context: referrer, user-agent, UTM parameters and a salted, truncated hash of your IP address (never the raw IP) used for abuse prevention.

How we use it

Your details are used to provide access to the tracker and — with your consent — for Tastewise to contact you about its food & beverage intelligence products. You can opt out of marketing communication at any time; access to the tracker is not affected.

Storage & sharing

Signup data is stored securely in our database and shared only with Tastewise (our parent platform). We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We set one functional cookie after signup that unlocks the full tracker on your device. This one is always set — it is what keeps you signed in.

With your consent we also load Google Tag Manager, which runs Google Analytics and Google Ads so we can see how the tracker is used and whether our ads work. These set third-party cookies. Until you accept the banner they run in a restricted mode that stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you, and if you decline they stay that way — declining does not affect your access to the tracker.
